Great place for family. No dogs allowed.
Local area students, parents, and a teacher or two were helping a fellow student earn his Eagle Scout by planting irises around the pond to help stabilize erosion. The plants are different colors & have different bloom times. It was a worthy cause!!
Its a pretty nice facility, but usely packed during summer.
Games for younger children are much too late. Concession stands leave A LOT to be desired. You would think they could at least afford real popcorn machines instead of microwave popcorn. Can drinks-no fountain drinks. Very small selection of snacks.
The park is beautiful. Fields are well kept and you can always feel safe when you go for any sort of event here! You can even rent the pavilion to host parties! Only thing I would change or add would be more parking. Parking here for events is a NIGHTMARE!!! Other than that, all is great!
Definitely not enough parking. Some parents are not respectful of the fact that there are small children at this park and dress highly inappropriately.
