I prefer this one to the Hammond location. It's quieter, and much more quaint. Wonderful margaritas and typical American Mexican style food.
We eat here a LOT. The food is always great and most of the staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a room in the back for large parties.

Yummy, Mexican-American food, drinks, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service. La Carreta has become one of my family's favorite places to eat. My children recommend the queso dip... they love it so much they call La Carreta "the cheese store." I personally haven't found anything I dislike at La Carreta. I recommend the frozen mango margarita, especially if you like your drinks sweet, fruity and strong.
